Well some interesting responses Lee, I can see where you are coming from. The Alpha Male is certainly dominant when it comes to gorillas, although I prefer my males less hairy ;-)))) Twizzle, good point about guys ducking out of maintenance. Of course in the wild the male animals often do leave the raising of young to the females, so I guess if a guy bunks off when he has had his pleasure he is basically no more than an animal!!! Fred, in the film the women were definitely willing partners, in fact the mother seduced the guy in the first place. Daniel, are you taking notes for when you meet the girl friends mother?? BC, agree that men are programmed to procreate, (Btw was just wondering, does it ever happen that a woman takes on a father and son?? Perhaps we had better not go there) Well at last we have a guy who is willing to admit to taking advantage of the situation when it presented, sorry to hear things went pear shaped for you though ;-))))))

And, of course, we have to make allowances as men are genetically programmed to procreate and to make sure that the human species continues and does not die out..........well that is their excuse:-) lol BC

To me it's more simplistic then that , the bloke is just a randy old so and so and will bed anything he can , not caring about such things as love, morales and the hurt he causes people . The bloke will more than likely boast to mates down the pub about his conquests and of course when it comes to maintenance for the babies he produces he will do a runner never to be seen again.

Hi Dee, in my opinion its not so much as mother and daughter conquest, as in ego trip for him, it's more of a primal instinct, that can be seen in any herd, group, pod, hareem where there is an Alpha male in the dominant position. This can be seen quite clearly in a group of Gorillas where only one Alpha male will dominate and he will defend to the death his Hareem until he is deposed by another that is stronger. In the film there are two women, the males primal instinct has clicked in and he has tried to become the dominant ALpha male, and, it worked........... This is my opinion even If there had been 10 20 30 daughters the male would try to possess all females in the same way as the Stag does with his herd. possess and dominate a basic instinct.

Dee, it happens today also. My 19yr old daughter has a friend whose parents divorced. Mum had taken a lodger in . A few months later this girl confides in my daughter, that she, her younger sister and her mother are all sleeping with the lodger. Oh!. and her friend is also pregnant by him now!

They say daughters are a lot like their mothers. If they like one then you would expect them to like the other. Experience VS Beauty
