Linda, apologies sweetie, But i ment all the arguments on here of late seem so insignificant.. I would NEVER EVER call any creature, let alone one of my own animals insignificant..... Sorry if you thought i was. :-))) LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxx

I didn't mean it like that either! A lot of our small domestic animals are quite small and insignificant, but I think I was just adding to the thread rather than the original topic. Certainly no offence taken, and hope I haven't offended you. It's a topic that deserves peoples attention. It's about caring, even if only for a rabbit! Lynda x

So sorry to hear about Bazil...hope he's doing ok :-( It annoys me when people say it's only a rabbit.......we had a rabbit when we were kids and it died when mixmatosis was put through the wild rabbits up here to keep them under control a lot of pet rabbits died after escaping and mixing with wild ones before they were caught :-( I was heart broken as it was me that found her in her hutch on my way to school like I always did I popped over the fence to see her before and after school and was inconsolable for days :-( I really hope your wee guy makes it.....he seems such a tough cookie to have got through so much already. Why do people let animals get into such a state.........why take one on if they can't look after it properly........all a pet is asking for is a loving safe home and unfortunately all some get is abuse or neglect :-( I'd take them all home with me if I had the space........keep us posted on how the wee guy is getting on....I'm sending him get well wishes and I'll not say what sort of wishes I'm sending the previous owners of the poor bunny. RDA.x.

I really hope he makes a recovery. Pets depend on us for their welfare and it's hard if we fail them.
