Thanks for the explanation - I thought you and Lemon had both flipped! I was right, then! If you are 'on holiday' then have a good time - wish I could get to your meet but there's nae chance. It would be good if the GR 'jury' could see both sides of an argument - but why should this be any different, they never have before!

I understand completely Julie. I was so mad I actually went off & did some research, then sat down to watch TV. I believe the thread was a deliberate attempt by the usual suspects to cause trouble on the board. I do hope your thread is seen, as it should be, a dictionary definition. As to why I posted it I finally had to say something and wanted to say it in a way that wouldn't provoke arguements amongst other people. btw I hope that first sentence comes across in the way it's meant, not meaning to imply that anything is your fault.

Couldn't agree with your sentiment more. I should have stayed on tips, and in fact not becaome an issue at all. It just turned into the usual GR Mud slinging contest. The fire was fuelled with people that start with the clasic reply ''i didnt see the actual thread but....'' Why contribute? why even say that? I bet it didn't P*ss you off half as much as it did me! Julie, I haven't seen your thread but saw last night's. I completely understand your frustration. I took the alternative route and turned off my computer once the trolls came out to play as I knew what would follow and I can't always bite my tongue.
