Thank you Norah for letting us know this sad news, it must have been very difficult for you. Please give my sincere condolences to Babs and the family. I had the privilege of sitting with Alfie and Babs at a meet, and they were both such lovely people. I'm so sorry that Alfie has lost his courageous fight, but he is now at peace. Love Mandy xx |

It is with deep regret that I would inform the many friends on this site of our friend Alfie, that sadly he lost his fight today against his illness. Although he knew his illness was terminal, he remained his cheekfy cheerful self, and was courageous to the end.
