HI AILEEN, WE'VE JUST HAD A POWER CUT. WE ARE PROUD OF OUR SON, HE WAS BORN 3 MONTHS PREMATURE AND HAS SOME LEARNING DIFFICULTIES, BUT HAS ACHIEVED MARVELLOUS THINGS. I HAD A VISIT ON TUESDAY, FROM ONE OF MY DAUGHTER'S FRIENDS, WHO IS AT UNI, IN BRISTOL, DOING METEROLOGY TOO. HE WORKED IN THE USA, FOR 6 WEEKS IN THE SUMMER ON ONE OF THOSE VOLUNTEER PROJECTS, CONSERVATION IN THE COUNTRYSIDE. HE BROUGHT HIS PICTURES ON HIS LAPTOP, FOR ME TO SEE. HE IS THINKING / HOPING TO MAYBE BE A WEATHERMAN ON THE TV. PIPS XX

Thanks Woody, My favourite uncle was a Thistle supporter and he used to take me to see them when I was quite young. It was quite funny when I married and came to live in England. Other Scots I met down here used to ask what team I supported expecting Celtic or Rangers to be the reply. It used to throw them when I said Partick Thistle. They were unable to suss what religion I was! Weird. Aileen xxx
