the gift i would most like is the gift of a self esteem i recently did a course on it and realised that 90% of myself is an act - only very rarely do people see the real me id also love a proper singing voice - i dont want to do x factor or anything like that but i love to sing - just wish it didnt sound so bad lol - feel very sorry for those who have heard me in the past |

I would second Lorraine's comment on p1 - give me the gift of a singing voice - it doesn't have to be top class standard just good enough to sing along to songs wherever I am without being embarrassed. :( Lyn x |

I have thought really hard on this one because I used to sing in a choir when young and wish I had kept it up, I also started to learn the piano and was rubbish. I love music. But all in all I think I would like to be able to capture the beauty of nature on canvas (instead of, as I do already, on camera). i would love to be able to paint. Ann Glos |

Hi Caz, I have to agree with you regaring the enthusiasm bit, I only had a couple of lessons at school with the recorder but in later life I bought one and in no time I could play anything on it. But I don't read the music I just play by ear as the saying goes. Jeff xxx |

I was lucky, I could sing, and often sang solo in the choir at school.....but the breath has gone now.....can't hold a note for any length of time.....but what I always wanted to do was play the piano, or some musical instrument with proficiency.... Only managed the violin for a short time (parents couldn't stand the noise).....and the recorder.....and I wasn't much good at that... I would have loved to play the piano.... |

Hi June, I used to love singing and playing with the brass bands, now I like to write bits of poetry and I also have a recorder which I play to amuse myself, but I'd love to be able to draw and paint, sadly I'm rubbish at that. Jeff xx |
