61 years and 3 months. Although I have not included all the ones that died in infancy or at a very early age unless they were in my direct line.

Good on ya Len lol I often think along those lines. My dad died aged 47 and my brother aged 37 so I am awaiting my 48th birthday this year. But then good old mum will be 80 in April and is still going strong.

Well done Len - keep up the good work :-) Unfortunately with over 24000 in your tree one person doesn't make a huge amount of difference :-( Penny

Hi Penny 55 years and 9 months. Thanks for pointing that out.....I didn't know it was there. I'm still trying to work out how to use most of the features. Now, I'm no mathematician, but I think it probably works on how many death entries you have entered into your tree. As we know, it's usually harder to 'kill off' your ancestors than to find their births, so it probably isn't the most accurate of statistics. What do you think? Discuss! lol Jeanette x

mine is age 51, in-laws are 52 and 7 months surprised really as I thought it would be higher - there are quite a lot who are very long-lived. I wonder what it does with those you haven't got a death date for? Maz. XX

I think it does just work it out on the ones that you have death dates for. I've looked a couple of times when I have entered a death date & the total figure just roughly goes up or down by a month, The childhood deaths do bring it down a lot. Penny
