A yellow rose I'd give to you to show you how my dreams came true, dreams worth more than all the gold that treasure chests could ever hold. A rose of white, like pale moonlight, the way your love lights up the night then paints the day with purest bliss, I'd give to you and then, a kiss. The rose of pink I'd save 'til last. It's fragrance wipes away the past and writes anew upon the slate. Your love for me was meant by fate. Yes, I would give a rose to you to show you that my love is true. To show you that my love will stay, I'd give to you the whole bouquet! |
