Hi June yes it is easy once you get control of the wheel, I am left handed so until I changed hands couldn't get the hang of it, but it is very relaxing, been doing it for 20 years now. |

Spinning is my favourite, that's an old tradition, the men did the knitting and women the spinning that's why unmarried women are spinsters. My ancestors were silk winders, and one day I will have a go at spinning with silk. |

When I saw the thread I was going to say Lace Maker, as that's my other passion. I have a Master Cooper in the family. Think he made beer barrels and the rest of the men in the family helped to empty them LOL Daphne |
