Very close Star, I was born in 8-47, but no idea about the 747. I do often get the feeling though of not being alone when I go to bed, but always say goodnight to whoever may be there, if anyone of course. OR, is it just a figment of my imagination ?

Hiya Deb, Your 911, I thought, as did, Star, that you might be referring to the twin towers, but obviously not, so as to what it means is anyone's guess. I have a similar thing going on, and mine's 747. I know it's an aircraft, but I think it may be something else. At times whenever I look at my watch in the morning or evening, it may be 7.47am or pm, the car in front has a number plate with 747 on it, and like you, I don't know what the meaning behind it is. I would have thought that the sadness you felt, might have been due to you not acknowledging the person in the doorway, probably someone of your family, and waiting for you to invite them in.

Then I think you should go for it Star. It seems to me, and I'm a nobody, that you have been blessed with a certain 'power', and I think if I was in your place, I'd go ahead with it. I have seen a ghost, but never actually had a conversation with any.

Oh, don't say that Baz, a medium had told me that Dad has been here, Dad told her about the bl**dy awful draught...of all things!!! Amongst other stuff, Oh, I'll be devasted if it was Dad or Nan.

I have been told Baz that I am in control, I had a visitation one day when mom was in Hospital, he/she stood there in the doorway, looked at me for ages, and I just looked back at whoever it was, didn't say anything and I could feel the sadness when I didn't acknowledge whoever it was. A friend of mine who is a Spiritual Healer said that's good it means that you are in control, I have thought about developing what I have been given and I feel ready for it now.

Hello Di, you OK ? Star, have you ever thought of trying to find out who they are by taking things very slowly, and making sure you are the controller, and not them. ? and if so, going to a Spiritualist Church for advice etc.

I don't know who they are who speak to me, sometimes I even pick up accents...Like liverpuddlian etc...I manage to hear a few words or a sentence before I get scared, then my heart starts booming and then they're gone.

I have conversations with spirits all the time.... I chat to Daddy daily, Grandad too and sometimes I chat to whoever I feel is around at the time!! I completely believe there is a life after death and I completely believe that we can't be vain enough to think that there is only one race.... the human kind!! xx

Star, I don't mean holding a conversation lol, just a 'goodnight Mum' or something like it. I say goodnight to my brother every night. He's never answered me though, but I suppose it makes me feel better, and hopefully he hears me.

Oh~Baz, That's freaky!!! You shouldn't think like that LOL LOL !!!! I've seen Spirits twice, to my knowledge. I got a lace handerkerchief from one, I lived in an old house and there on my pillow, she left me a lace handkerchief, I found out later that that house used to be a haberdashery. Well, I think it's cool.

I do believe that sometimes we most likely see ghosts and don't even realise it! My ex husband saw a Man once and thought he was real until his then Wife asked who he was waving at! Kaye x

Like you, Kaye, I believe we pass 'ghosts' in the street every day, but don't recognise them as such - which would be why most reportings of ghosts are those dressed in clothes from the past :0) maggie

I think there are ghosts, or if you prefer Spirits of people who have passed, but what we see aren't always ghosts like that. Isn't there quite a difference in ghosts - some are residual and always attached to somewhere, others drift a bit and some aren't spirits at all - forgotten what they call it, but it's like a scene being played over and over again like the energy is within the walls themselves!
