Hi Elaine :) Thank you for getting back to me :) Ive never been there myself as Hayleys grandfather passed away many years ago but appararntly there are still quite a few rellies there to. Do you originate from Antrim so that your main research is from the areas of Ireland or do you have family who have travelled accross the waters to the UK also. Sorry I am being nosey I know Colin :):) |

Hi Elaine :):) I wish you luck with your irish sides, I know how hard this side can be to. I reached 1851 with ours after a few years of trying to. Deborah :) :) All those numbers made me feel a whole lot older lol |

I agree Colin - it doesnt look as flattering as I thought it would sound LOL...... I hate tracing our Irish roots - Mainly because we have no idea where in Ireland they came from. Some left for Scotland & some for England. We've been in County Down now for 6 nearly 7 years and I can't say being here has made the search any easier. Anyway Elaine have fun Much happiness Debi |

Deborah :):) LOL it could have been worse, it could have been minutes and seconds which would make it look as though I was a million years BC :):) Irish research must really be one of the hardest areas to have try and do. I only really struck lucky with Hayleys side by chance, it all came about whilst I was looking for someone else at the 1851 Liverpool census, blow me down if I didnt find them there in a large Irish community :):) Colin :):) |
