Hi Em, If there is a Youth Theatre near you that would be a good place to start. Try to avoid franchised ones because they are businesses and (in my opinion) do not have their priorities right. A degree offering all round theatre skills from a good university is better than any qualification from a poor uni or unregistered or poor stage school. Some of my ex students have had bad experiences ........ Gwynne

Good morning Gwynne, yep it was a good night. Daughter has been told to pursue acting in more depth.. she is already taking at as a GCE subject but the teacher thinks she has more potential... she just loves drama, so i think we best look into stage school or similar for her..

Good morning Linda and Lorraine, Linda, i am sorry you cant sleep, i went through this for years, still do on occasion.. its a hard habit to break even though the cause of my sleeplessness has nearly gone now i still find myself waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep.. its a lonely world at 3am isnt it. Oh Lorriane... lots of coffee for you... my youngest is now 10 and thankfully past the dropping off at silly times then waking at even sillier times.. i dont envy you at all !

Lorraine
