Good luck to you too Gaynor :O)) I am walking as I walk better than I run lol - plus I am suffering with bursitis in my right hip just now so even walking is a chore but i will do it lol Just got back from my first 'training session' - walked briskly for 20 mins .............. oooooh my calf muscles got a shock LOL |

I'm doing it too.... I will be walking aswell as my neck prevents me from jogging around. But I think it's a great opportunity to give something back so to speak My Mum didn't suffer from cancer but many of out closest family and friends have done, she always supported our local hospice and that is why I am doing it for my Mum. good luck and mind you dont slip into the lake. lol Used to be a regular day out for us when we were little. Often took the dog for a run around the lake. |

Cas,my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family, especially Leanne's daughters, hope you feel close to her when you do the race. A friend of mine did it here on Saturday but she already had a problem with her heel and is now in agony. Good luck Anne, nice to be doing it with your niece. Good luck to all others entering too.
