Morning folks. :-D <3

Sun is out and it’s bright but chilly out there this morning.

Plumber coming back next week. My bestie’s OH has taken charge …. thankfully, because I haven’t a clue what needs doing. Just wish I had not got K to move things around a few years ago and I have to say, girls, he was so right when he asked if I was sure I wanted to block off a door. :-(

Looking forward to not dodging around in the kitchen.

I hope you are all in the pink.

Have a lovely day everyone. :-D <3

Morning Joy, Fly and everyone :-) <3

Lovely sunshine, but boy is it nippy :-0

Really cold yesterday evening and into the night, but hopefully temperatures will pick up in the coming week.

Nothing much planned today, so more of the same-old, I guess.

Joy
Was that a permanent block or just moving things in the way?

We moved into a hired house once and had to move a fridge in front of a door in the kitchen.
The washing machine and tumble drier were already in a downstairs cloakroom.
It was so small :-|

Lovely morning for walkies as long as you are wrapped up warm :-0 :-D

They've removed the fallen tree with just a part of the large stump remaining :-0

Lovely day here. If you are in the sun it is quite warm - if you are in the shade it is really quite chilly :-0

Been out to pick up my prescription and some new cushions I had ordered.

Have a good day.

When we moved in here almost 40 years ago we had a utility room accessed through the kitchen. We knocked down the dividing wall so had a bigger kitchen with a door through to the garage where we put the washing machine.

The door got blocked (K told me then that it was not a good idea as I’d be trailing around the corner to access the side door of the garage). It did not seem too bad then but now I realise he was right as sometimes it is chilly doing that - and I am not getting any younger.

So .. I bought an integrated washer-dryer for the kitchen and only discovered it was not going to be an easy job when I paid for installation and the delivery guys took one look and said you need a plumber. They are like gold to get! Got installation costs straight back - the easy part.

My bestie’s OH took over and he has been fantastic. When he found out I had contacted a plumber through ‘check-a-trade’ he told me he knew one he had worked with years ago and has remained good friends with so his plumber came out with him and said he could do it but it would mean knocking a hole through the wall and installing pipe work outside. B’s OH came yesterday, did all the prelim work and put in socket (he is a leccy), fixed door hinges on machine - all to save as much plumbing time as possible. I think the plumber is busy but a good friend with bestie’s OH so is coming one afternoon late when he’s finished his day’s work.

It means a bit of a squash between machine and table to get to sink, cooker etc. Also, there are cupboard doors, shelf, screws and bits and pieces on bench top but now I know that this time next week all will be done, clean and tidy and I won’t be making any more changes!!!

I should have taken more notice of K all those years ago. <3

I hope you have all had a better week than I have. :-D

Joy

The cushions are the same material as my new curtains and we used the same material to cover the dining room chairs. It's just a plain colour (something like a milky coffee colour although it is called moonstone) and the material is a chenille with a self coloured cheveron pattern. It sounds a bit boring but I'm quite pleased with the chairs and cushions. Not quite sure about the curtains as I think the material is a bit too thick for curtains so they don't hang quite as well as I thought they would but I'm slowly getting used to them.

Don't think I will be getting anything else new any time soon ;-)
