The carpet is down Belle but they came at 12.30 instead of 9.30 and one of them had to go back to Hartlepool (about 8 or 9 miles) because they'd brought the wrong coloured door strip.

It does look nice though Joy and a friend of my son's came unexpectedly at about 3.30 so he helped bring all the furniture out of the box trailer where we were storing it so we don't have to wait for the friend who was going to come tomorrow night to help.

Now I've just got to bring in all the boxes and boxes of stuff to put back in the units but I'm not in too much of a hurry to do that.

Just got in and started up my tree again and got stuck like the proverbial, send for the Fire Brigade!!

We had a shower while I was out but indoors, but it is not really cold. Looking out of the window now, I can see black clouds coming in.
