~~~~~~~~~~~s Kath, pleased it is all finished .....that was good of the decorator to knock some money off the price, you don't hear of that very often. Hopefully, by this time tomorrow your carpet will be down :-) <3

It was a lovely day here until the middle of the afternoon then it became quite overcast and looked like rain - although it hasn't rained yet. It's forecast for tomorrow though.

Gwyn - the decorator finished by 3pm yesterday - and he took £70 off the price (even though it wasn't expensive to start with) because he said we had done a lot of what he expected to have to do ourselves. The dining room was completely empty and we'd moved as much of the stuff in the kitchen as we could and covered it all. All he had to do was sand, paint and emulsion the walls and ceilings.

I've spent the morning washing down the kitchen units and putting everything back in place.

The dining room carpet is going down tomorrow so we can't do anything in there until after that.

Glad some of you have managed some warm time in the garden :-)

Shame it can't be collected sooner.
I think I've said before, that our 'opt-in' garden waste collection is all year except for a fortnight over Christmas / New Year.
It's gone up in cost since it started and now costs £63.90 per bin each year :-0

I've spent a couple hours or so in the garden and it's been lovely, just the right temp :-D

I've got a huge bag of green waste ready for collection the only problem is they don't come until April :-(

Also, what I've cleared makes the rest of the garden look even more untidy....hey ho have to start sonewhere :-D :-D

It's a really lovely day here too.
All our little Tete a Tete daffs have suddenly opened and are fully out in the sunshine.

Because of the Sahara dust winging this way, we possibly may have an amazing sunset today.
Let's hope it stays dry then ;-)
