I don’t know if many on here are members or pop into Lost Cousins from time to time, but, sadly, Peter Calver who ran LC and did so much for the researching community has died.

That's very sad, I used to enjoy his newsletters.

However, despite having my data on there, and sending messages, I never got to contact any 'cousins'.

So many people have trees on various sites but seem to have no interest in growing ones contacts.
I send out messages, I do get replies but very rarely get sent a first contact.

Peters DNA masterclass has been a great help.

Sadly I received the information regarding Peter's passing this morning. :-(

I have been a member of the site for a number of years, and always enjoyed the newsletters.

I, too got the email this morning and was very sorry to hear the sad news.

I looked forward to his newsletters and learned so much from them. Was happy to hear that the site will go on as well as the newsletters later in the year.

I got the email as well, which was sad news. I have a couple of ‘cousins’ on there, but I was already in contact with them through Ancestry
