Damp ground, but no rain in daylight hours.

The sky is a washed out grey.

No frost or snow for us, but I remember one year that our main A road was blocked with snow in mid March and schools closed, which normally stayed open all winter, so we're not necessarily out of the woods yet :-|

Horrible morning here. We still have a layer of snow and ice but it is now raining and things are turning to slush. It's also dark and depressing.

Hope your other half is on the mend Von.

Maddie, your mention yesterday of Napisan and towelling nappies on the line brought back memories. We did the same. No washing machine for me until our younger son was about 5. They don't know they are born these days!
