Just saw on the news that there have been new houses built to be given to migrants even when there are home-grown British citizens on waiting lists.

There seems to be a lot of anger about it and if I were on a waiting list I would be furious.

I wonder who thought that one up? Guaranteed to cause a lot of animosity, I think. :-0

It really makes me wonder about the mindset of our leaders! Do they want to be drummed out of office soon? :-S

I think if Maddie took her soapbox to Hyde Park Corner she might have to be there for quite a long time - there are so many things in the world that need sorting out :-0

Frosty film on the outside table cover which is on the north side of the house and only a little, in bits, on the grass. The car, on the south side, seems to be frost-free. Weird, innit? :-S

Firstly, thanks from me to all our regular ladies on here, Belle, Fly, Von, Joy ,Jem, Kath, Gwyn, Island and Elizabeth. We have made this year enjoyable with all our little comments and news. Although we do not know each other IRL, we are a little family on here, sharing our joys and sorrows. We know each other enough to fret when one of us goes missing for a couple of days :-)

Remembering our lovely Ann who we lost so suddenly earlier in the year. I miss her still, and smile every time I go into her favourite shop, Sparkles :-D <3
