We do have Christmas Pudding(s) but not usually on Christmas Day. That is the day for a good old trifle :-D |

Allan, we usually spent Christmas Day with born-and-bred Aussie friends (with Aussie parents and grandparents) when we were there and I was amazed to find that they did a typical British Xmas dinner. Even our next-door neighbours (in the first house we bought), also born and bred, one in Subiaco, which you will know, and in Victoria did a typical British Xmas dinner. |

When we first arrived in Oz we kept up with all the old traditions, including a roast meal on Christmas Day. |

Well, here we are again. The longest day of 2025 and the temperatures are starting to climb. A top of 40c is forecast for Perth on Christmas Day. We will escape that here as our top temp is forecast to be 35c. |
