As soon as La Voix got through you just knew that Chris would be sent home :-(. Such a shame as he was the only genuine non dancer in the line up and he had improved :-)
With Craig being the head judge the writing was on the wall as he didn't think there was enough Salsa in the routine :-0.

Hey Ho, on to next week :-D

I am not normally a fan of couples choice but Ellies enthusiasm , pleasure and sheer happiness was a tonic to watch.

I also am not a fan or rumba but Alex's Rumba was something else, beautifult to watch

I worry about Diane when she is throwing herself on the floor, I really don't think it is wise for her to be allowed to do it.

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 19 Oct 2025 11:58

I really enjoyed Jimmy Hasselback's dance. It was so joyous.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 19 Oct 2025 07:48

Although the majority have improved again, there were two that stood out for me last night and, in no particular order, they were

George's Tango - I liked the choreography and although Shirley said he made mistakes I thought he danced really well. He is one to watch ;-)

Alex's Rumba - as I've said before Rumba is not a dance I particularly like but last night is the first time I've seen a female celeb dance it with such intensity rather than the pro dancer doing all the work making it look good. I have to say I love Johannes, he must be a joy to work with......such a gentleman :-)

I have to say that I do worry for Dianne with her being pregnant but I guess she knows what she is doing :-0

Ellie is a bundle of energy and proves that even with a disability you can shine :-) I'm not a fan of Vito but I think he deserves a lot of credit for his teaching :-)

Who disappointed? For me it was La Voix, they were so much better when they were serious last week :-0

My two for the dance off would be La Voix and Chris. I think Chris is a genuine novice and has improved week on week, so I would like to see him go through :-)

JustGinnie Report 14 Oct 2025 15:02

Sorry to see Ross voted off although it was the correct choice. I was hoping to see him improve over a couple more weeks.

Still rooting for Alex and JoJo I would like to see them win.

La Voix and Aljaz were better this week.

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 13 Oct 2025 11:49

I like watching Lewis too, Ann. :-D ;-)

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 13 Oct 2025 07:39

Yes Maddie, I agree......although having watched Ross' dance again it was a very good idea and well choreographed for a novice :-D

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 12 Oct 2025 20:31

Thank goodness, sense prevailed. :-0 :-0

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 12 Oct 2025 08:29

Even though he has experience I do love watching Lewis and I also think he is genuinely pleased with how he has performed, he seems to really enjoy it. I too liked Jimmy and Harry and La voix and ellie was sweet with her Barbie, she has worked hard.

If the vote is done on ability and performance then yes, ross and Chris in the dance off with ross to go, but who can tell what support they have out there.

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 12 Oct 2025 08:02

Well done Belle you have put down near perfect what I was going to write :-D :-D

I do agree that Lewis although it was a great Paso he has an advantage along with Amber and her lovely Sound of Music dance.

Yep I reckon it will be Chris and Ross. But I think it will be Ross to go. :-(

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 12 Oct 2025 07:59

Another long sit :-0

Ellie continues to amaze me and that is no disrespect to her :-)

Amber and Lewis were both very good but that is what you would expect from a musical actress and someone who had starred in Billy Elliot :-)

My favs, in no particular order, were

La Voix's Waltz - this is the first week that they danced seriously instead of trying to be a comedy act, also I think the blonde wig helped.:-)

Jimmy's Rumba - I don't normally like this dance but Jimmy certainly got into the rhythm and Bond character. The choreography was very good and I thought he danced well :-)

Alex's Quickstep - another good dance from Alex. Loved the way she kept in character
throughout :-)

Harry's Samba - he certainly made the lifts look so simple, he can move too. Also, he comes across as a really nice person, a gentle giant :-)

I thought those at the bottom last week had improved but so had those above them :-0
I think Chris and Ross will be in the dance off, with Chris to go :-(

After tonight I feel that the weakest competitors are amongst the men.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 11 Oct 2025 07:22

Stefan Dennis will not be dancing this evening due to illness...he and Dianne have been given a bye to next week when it is hoped they will be able to take to the floor again :-)

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 6 Oct 2025 09:36

A good idea, Belle. Dance and dance training is hard work so if it gets too much for Dianne as her pregnancy goes forward, Amy would be my choice as a replacement too. <3

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 6 Oct 2025 09:32

I agree Maddie.. such a shame for Amy but I think it would have taken a miracle to have made Tom into a dancer :-(

I think Dianne has been quite subdued and I worry for her being pregnant especially with a novice dancer. Perhaps Amy could replace her :-0

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 6 Oct 2025 07:21

Well that was a foregone conclusion. That old chestnut of picking a not so good dancer against a slightly better one.

Although it has to be said Tom was not in the running. A shame for Amy though.

And we go again next week. :-)

JustGinnie

JustGinnie Report 5 Oct 2025 14:17

3 favourites for me . Alex, George. and Lewis. I also am finding La Voix and Aljaz annoying, I hope they calm down but doubt it.
Would like Ross to stay in to see if he improves .

Possible for the dance off Tom and Chris.

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 5 Oct 2025 09:27

Alex turned in a smooth, graceful and practised performance, I thought. (Completely irrelevant, but hasn’t she got a nice voice - very soothing.)

I had to look up Tom Skinner as he was one of those I had never heard of. Why on earth anyone would want to include him is beyond me but someone must have liked him for some reason. :-S

Ah, well, onward and upward. I shall watch next week

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 5 Oct 2025 07:56

It was another picnic blanket and flask job again last night!

Too many still to give an opinion on everyone.

Alex seemed to really enjoy her Samba, and got praised highly for it.

I wish La Voix would cut out all the slapstick in the dance. I know that is part of the act but it is becoming tedious to me. Just dance!

Both Lewis and Amber have had musical West End appearances, so I think they have too much of an advantage.

Faves of the night, Karen, Vicky, George and Bavindaer.

I think it may be Tom or Ross to go, but they probably both have a large fan base who will keep them in. :-0

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 5 Oct 2025 07:47

Another Marathon :-0

Both the replacements ie Lewis and Amber danced well but both have experience :-0
Although I have to agree with Shirley that Lewis's Viennese Waltz was far too powerful, in fact I thought it was more like a Paso, I prefer it to be danced in the more traditional way elegant and flowing :-0

My favorites, in no particular order, were

Alex's Samba - she looked as if she was having so much fun and all her hard work paid off :-)

George's Paso - was so strong and powerful. :-)

Balvinder's Charleston - I love a traditional Charleston and this is exactly what it was, they kept in sync throughout and she wasn't phased but the lifts. :-)

A special mention goes to Ellie and Vito who I thought did exceptionally well... . it's a pity that there is a height difference .....normally I find Vito far too gushing and excitable but he seems to be the ideal teacher for Ellie :-)

My two for the dance off are Tom and Stefan :-0. With Tom to go :-(
