Makes me cross that they actually get the product for free out of the sky and than get most of it back anyway! |

OMG Namelessone! I don't fancy that, although I have done it a few times when the shower has stopped working! They were very quick showers saving even more water though. |

I agree Nameslessone. There's no incentive for the non-metered to even try to save water. I've been emptying my hot waterbottle I've been cooling in the fridge for these hot nights on the garden in the morning. Anyone seeing me must think I've lost the plot! It annoys me how much water it takes before the shower gets warm. Maybe I could collect at least a bucketful each time. |

When the aisle of Wight went totally metered they found that not enough water was going down the drains as everyone was saving as much as they could for their gardens. |

I'm with Southern Water for both fresh water and waste water. |

I thought it was usually the same company. We got our waste water part of the bill reduced as our guttering runs into soakaways rather than the drains. |

I was surprised to see that we pay almost £28 a year more to one firm for waste water to be disposed of, than we pay to another firm for the supply of clean water. |

Isn’t it unfair on water meter uses to bring in surge pricing for water.. |
