and if you want to sing along when the time comes...
HERE ARE THE ANTHEM LYRICS!
IRELAND
A SOLDIER’S SONG We'll sing a song, a soldier's song, With cheering rousing chorus, As round our blazing fires we throng, The starry heavens o'er us; Impatient for the coming fight, And as we wait the morning's light, Here in the silence of the night, We'll chant a soldier's song.
Chorus: Soldiers are we whose lives are pledged to Ireland; Some have come from a land beyond the wave. Sworn to be free, No more our ancient sire land Shall shelter the despot or the slave. Tonight we man the gap of danger In Erin's cause, come woe or weal "Mid cannons" roar and rifles peal, We'll chant a soldier's song.
In valley green, on towering crag, Our fathers fought before us, And conquered 'neath the same old flag That's proudly floating o'er us. We're children of a fighting race, That never yet has known disgrace, And as we march, the foe to face, We'll chant a soldier's song.
Ireland's Call
Come the day and come the hour Come the power and the glory We have come to answer Our Country's call From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call
From the mighty Glens of Antrim From the rugged hills of Galway From the walls of Limerick And Dublin Bay From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's call
Hearts of steel And heads unbowing Vowing never to be broken We will fight, until We can fight no more From the four proud provinces of Ireland
Ireland, Ireland Together standing tall Shoulder to shoulder We'll answer Ireland's Call

JEM’S GEMS......
........GEORGE NORTH
Wales and Northampton Saints Winger, George North, has been named in the Wales Starting Lineup to face Ireland on Saturday. When he steps out onto the pitch of the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday, George will have won his 50th CAP for WALES.
CONGRATULATIONS GEORGE<3
George reached the landmark of winning his 50th INTERNATIONAL CAP ( 47 Caps for Wales and 3 Caps for the British & Irish Lions) when Wales played France during the Six Nations Championship in February of this year.
INJURIES:
George has had a terrible 2014-15 Season, with no less than FOUR HEAD INJURIES in five months. He suffered a series of head injuries while playing for Wales in the Autumn Season, and also The Six Nations Championship.
He has not played since the Northampton v Wasps game in March of this year. Northampton beat the wasps 52-30 but poor George was knocked unconscious whilst scoring his 2nd Try, and has not played rugby since.
The incident while playing in his last Northampton game involved Wasps’ NATHAN HUGHES who was Yellow Carded for catching George’s head with his knee. The RFU Disciplinary Committee investigated the incident, and Hughes was found guilty. He was banned from playing for three weeks.
George, who was also chosen to play for the British & Irish Lions in 2013, is now fit. He has passed all the necessary cognitive tests and has been training hard for the past 2 months, including playing in a training match.
