it is made worse because I am on my own,my husband is at work ,no one to talk to and tv is rubbish.

I was just the same Sue, wanting it all over and everything ok - and I was in the room with her.
Hope everything goes well and that we soon see an announcement from the proud grandma :-)

Babe will soon be safely here then.
At least you won't have to wait every day after her due date thinking 'Will it be today?'

I need to keep myself sane.
last year my daughter had to have her baby taken away as the scan showed massive problem's.
she is expecting again due date 2nd sept,got a call this morning her water's broke yesterday,her hubby took her into hospital this morning,they had to give her a hormone to open the cervix,just had a text she is now 6cm dialated,
all this waiting is driving me mad,this will be my first grandchild , I just want it over with and both to be fine,selfish of me but all this waiting is sending me round the bend.
