I just hope that the R.S.P.B. (Royal Society for the Protection of Budgies) doesn't get to hear about all of this. ;-)

Jonesey

Rest assured that no budgies are harmed during a game of "Swing Budgie"

In fact they seem to enjoy it.

They flap their likkle wings with great excitement when they are swinging round the pole at 100mph.

They do end up looking a bit bald though.

:-D

Baldy Budgies!!!...Pwickles saves plucking anyways :-D :-D ;-)

PH!

I am absolutely shocked :-0

At least with my version, the budgies are free agents and you have to chase them.

Hitting a poor budgie attached to a pole via a piece of string...where's the sport in that :-|

I'm now off to work on Budgie badminton :-P

Jonesey, rest assured that no budgies complain about the game: I see to that!

saw a galah at a place in Adelaide... it was bald!

Poor thing.

It was so scrawny, wasn't enough meat on its bones to make a decent soup.

:-0

Not budgies, but funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkuBIrdi6eE

At least with my version Allan you can then move on to..........

Spinning your friends round and playing "Pin The Wing Back On the Budgie"

:-P

Anyone for a game of table budgie?

PricklyHolly

PricklyHolly Report 30 Jul 2013 14:17

Lots of fun and games go on at my place Mersey!

:-D :-D

One of my favorite games is......"Spin the Tortoise"

You turn your tortoise upside down and stick an arrow on his bottom.

You spin him round and whoever the arrow points to.........has to do something outrageous.

You know, like swing the cat round by the tail in a room that's too small to swing a cat in.

Tommy tortoise loves it. He doesn't get dizzy or anything.

:-D :-D :-D

Allan

Allan Report 30 Jul 2013 21:29

That's putting a new spin on things PH :-D

Could also double as tortoise roulette :-D

You can wear them on your head too if you work on a building site and forget your hard hat.

You might have to scoop out a bit first.

But if you attach little buckles to their feet they should stay on.

Allan

Allan Report 30 Jul 2013 21:57

Use them as cycle helmets too

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 30 Jul 2013 22:03

Yes if you put a bulb in their mouth and a battery in the other end it works a treat as long as they don't turn their head to look at something interesting as you cycle past

The possibilities with small creatures are endless. Obviously my Company will have to be expanded to establish an R & D Department

Can I head that bit up?

Bobtanian

Bobtanian Report 30 Jul 2013 22:42

If you insert that battery the wrong way round do you get a beam of Dark?i

Allan

Allan Report 30 Jul 2013 22:42

Certainly, Errol.

Meanwhile I'll continue my experiments to cross a spider with a hen.

Not only will the resulting offspring have eight juicy legs, but there will be no storage problems as they can weave their own webs
