My OH's Gran used to make those celery sticks with cream cheese too Sylvia. I hate celery. I remember trying to eat one so as not to offend :-)

Sylvia - I remember those in the 70's. My husband-to-be introduced me to my future m.i.l, who was preparing for a cocktail party. I asked her if I could help and that's the job she gave me to do. I've never done them since - don't know why, because they were quite nice. Maybe I should have a cocktail party - falls over larfing in the shrubbery at the thought :-D

MC .............

you are actually the first personIi've "met" who has had those celery sticks before!!

I guess it must have been in a magazine or newspaper article on what the posh people are serving at their garden and cocktail parties this year :-D

Mum may have used a processed cheese ................. I changed it to cream cheese when I made them in the 70s.
