I loved The Famous Five, and I think I'd have liked to be Anne - George was a bit too boyish for me!
It would have been nice to be Heidi, too, all that lovely fresh mountain air, toasted cheese for supper, and sleeping in a hay loft!

When I was eleven I went to stay with my Aunt in the school holidays. I read Little Women three times whilst I was there, and cried every time. I have read it many times over the years, and will always watch it when it's on TV, still love the story. <3

I didn't want to be another character, but would have loved to join the Famous Five on their adventures. Especially liked Timmy, the dog. ......... Joined Alice, in Wonderland ............... and climbed the Faraway Tree in the Enchanted Wood.
