AnnMarieG

AnnMarieG Report 26 Oct 2012 13:37

I expect you are quite used to it then.I have two nieces who live in that area and it is just a way of life to them.
Do you like the snow and are you able to get out and about in it or are you usually 'snowed in'.
Take care if you do go out in it though. :-) :-)

Sharron

Sharron Report 26 Oct 2012 13:39

She must like the snow or she would live somewhere sensible.

'Emma'

'Emma' Report 26 Oct 2012 13:58

Yer all heart Sharron :-D :-D

I am used to it AnnMarie but not able to handle it
the same as I used to when I was young. Love to
look out at it but have been snowed in many a time
over the years.

Merlin as you know I hate haggis, but malt sounds
good although its not my tipple.

Panic over for the moment snow stopped, sun out and
it has gone :-)

Thought for a moment everything would have to come
to a standstill.......oh no that only happens in England :-D

Runs off while the going is good :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Sharron

Sharron Report 26 Oct 2012 14:25

When he had his stroke,Fred lost his speech and still gets his mucking firds wuddled. I spend ages trying to work out what he is telling me about everyday things.

I really have the time to decipher what he trying to tell me about his adventure to Aberdeen, which I might add,I would have to organize in minute detail before he went!

'Emma'

'Emma' Report 26 Oct 2012 14:25

You don't know our council Merlin, they don't come into
the cul-de-sac to help us even when its' really bad, they
go along main road and block us in, so our men clear it
themselves, no chance of getting paid from them :-D :-D

Merlin

Merlin Report 26 Oct 2012 14:31

Send them a Bill and see what happens,if there are disabled people in your Cul-de-Sac they should clear it asap. nag them and see what occurs. :-D

'Emma'

'Emma' Report 26 Oct 2012 14:42

Not a lot is the answer to that Merlin, mostly we are OAP's
who wouldn't see them in their way, they eventually
clear it when everywhere else is done and by then it's
solid at top of cul-de-sac, our paths, runways and pavements
in front of our gates are cleared by our men and salted everyday.

Sharron it's on again so you better fire up Fred's wheels, fill a flask,
hot water bottle etc. :-D

Morning all, how are you coping in your neck
of the woods?

Our snow has turned to ice and dangerous under
foot, and...... not a gritter in sight!!

Suppose only the main routes as usual are being
seen too.

Take care all and stay warm :-D
