'Who do they thing they are suing?" - bad advice from their legal people. The best way to let the ingredients settle is not to stir the pot.

I am a Royalist......but I have to say that knowing compromising photos of Royals have got into the press in the past, one would have thought they would have had more sense than to take their clothes off.....One cannot trust anyone these days...didn't they know?

I am sure the Queen was peeved too, as would most Mothers be. Yes they deserve privacy but they should have known better than to expect it from the paparazzi. As for those who buy the rubbish that shows them.....shame on them.

I sometimes wonder what planet some people are on..........

Ok he has gone to a war zone.........but why tell the world exactly where?
AND that the base he supposedly at has been attacked..........(unless that's a mis-information ploy...)

and as for the media publishing details....................pathetic......

Well, having thoroughly advertised the fact that Harry was going back to Afghanistan, what´s the first thing that happens when he gets there?'
The fuss over Kate´s boobs pales into insignificance.

Very true Sue, perhaps we should send a couple of the lads from Hereford to instruct that photographer on the impoliteness of taking photos like that :-D.I,m sure he would heed the lesson. :-D :-D :-D :-\

I cant see what everyone is getting worked up about. After all most of us have seen a naked body before. And its nothing to rave on about either.!
Still i cant understand why someone would want to buy a paper like that, but they do and if they didnt, it would cancel out the need for photographers to do this sort of thing. It was Harry a couple of weeks ago.
I find the whole thing very boring.

All I can say is How Dare They.
Can you just imagine the French reaction if a British newspaper had published similar photos of Carla Bruni??
I´ll bet she does the same thing when she´s on her jollies.

I feel we must also ask what the protection officers were doing not just ours but the french police? As Emma has said TG it was not a sniper.

Merlin Report 15 Sep 2012 13:26

Supposedly the" Villa" was about 1 mile from the road, and a very large telephoto lens was used. Re, security, their police and the French ones, should have assessed it prior to them going there. As for the woman who is editor of the magazine, from the picture in the media she looks Ugly ,Had unwashed hair, and if French probably had Hairy Smelly Arm pits and bought it to publish it out of jealousy.**M**. :-0Lets hope they are tried in the French Courts wher intrusion of privacy is very much frowned upon, and the punishment can be £35.000.plus a prison sentence. :-D

Sue.
Why should she have felt the need to cover up. She was under the impression that the place she was staying was isolated & secure from prying eye & she was with her new husband.,
I often sunbathe topless on our patio when I´m fairly sure there´s no one around & oh likes to potter about in the altogether. Neither of us is young , but I don´t think it´s a matter of what you look like.
Each to their own. Thank God I´m not famous because I hate having my photo taken at the best of times.
Who knows what other members of the Royal family do in the privacy of their own homes & good luck to them.

Yes they were on private property but she should have been a bit more covered up.

But who let the word out they were there,

Something to think about.

as for that woman editor, I'm damn sure she wouldn't like it if someone did the same to her, or one of her own ( family, not the French just in case anyone picks me up on it!) :-P what a bloody awful world we live in when even women won't respect another woman's right to bare their breasts in private without some little toerag climbing into private property to take photos....... grrrrrr peees me off big time can you tell

I sunbathe topless in my back garden - any papparazzi are welcome to film but I don't think they'd get any takers for publication ;-)

The Italian magazine Chi is planning to publish them next week! I rather expect a number of others will try and get the pictures out there PDQ.

IMO it was an intrusion of privacy, long lenses are a curse to anyone famous who are enjoying themselves within a secluded private property.

They were on holiday on a private estate. Even the royals have the right to a certain expectation of privacy.

Bet Princess Margaret did that a lot on Mustique but we never heard about the press taking pictures...OK there was a lot of gossip about her ,but the media wasn't as intrusive then.
Leave this young couple alone.
