Just a history lesson for you folks - mainly re the cycling successes.
I remember when Coe and Ovett were winning everything the commentator told us to enjoy it because we would never see the same again.

Make the most of London 2012.

I remember that too and commentators always like to say such things (can we forget Redgrave or Daley Thompson?) lol .. but think as long as competitiors strive to be 'Faster, Higher, Stronger' we'll have the Olympics albeit not in London again!.......I was initially annoyed at all the hype and expense etc. but it's been a good Games and GB teams have trained really hard.
