I've got loads of slugs & snails, and can't do anything, other than pick them up (which I don't do)
In theory, I shouldn't have any - I've got hedgehogs and sloworms in my garden - hence can't use slug killer.
I tried the beer - until I found a drowned sloworm.......

Watch what slugs you kill- Leopard slugs feed on decayng vegetation, (not young plants) and other slugs!!!

Not sure if I heard that copper wire stops them getting at plants if you put some on the edges of your pots.

Probably, why there are loads about - all the copper has been nicked!

I read a very long time ago that if garden pots are sprayed around the sides with ...

... WD 40...

this stops slugs/snails eating plants.

(One of WD 40's many wonderful 'preventions and cures'.)
