	Hello lovely GR friends :-) I made meringues today........whisked the egg whites, added sugar, whisked again, folded in the rest of the sugar and baked them in my lovely new oven. I got them out and they cooled,but looked a bit see through, but onward and upward...............I was so sure they would work this time!!! On went the cream and the meringues fell to bits and sort of melted :-( Oh well, the strawberries were good :-D xx
