We have tried all the usual, ignoring, saying we are not interested, asking them not to call again etc etc....so by writing to who ever "it worked" l really did'nt like them calling and put in particular being so persistant!!!! |

my brother answers the door.......... naked.......... then he invites them in to discuss the bible and the state of the world............ I don't think anyone has taken up his offer :-D |

I agree PP - the JW callers don't really bother me but I don't like cold callers. The latest opening gambit is "hello madam - nothing to worry about I just want to talk to you about.....". Why would I be worried? |

OOo Ann do let us know:)) The last couple who called here were asked to remove my address from their list and to make sure....... l found an address in town and wrote to them....they don't call here anymore!! although l have seen them in our road.......(l dare them...lol) |

I don't even pretend I'm not home - I just don't answer the door. If I get caught and open the door I tell them I'm not interested and close the door. They make the decision to knock on my door uninvited so I don't have any qualms about letting them know I'm not prepared to talk to them. |

A large people carrier has just parked opposite my house carrying a crowd of people who I believe are Jehova's Witnesses - I do not appreciate any religious groups calling on me and have a sign on my door to say so - we'll see if they do call!! they will be very sorry of they do! |
