i also like, bacon mushrooms and onions, fried of, then a big dollop of philie, till it melts, then add it to pasta yum yum x

Island, Badger meant a butterflied chicken breast. which means cut in half lengways, and opened out. You then put in the creamcheese, re assamble together, wrap it in the streeky bacon, and cook.

We have a banana tree and a pawpaw........ and don't get any fruit, because the possums, birds and fruitbats eat them :-D We managed to pick ONE pineapple, too prickly for the bats & possums lol

1 pint full cream milk
1 + 1/2 Tablespoon concentrated lemon juice (Jif)

strain through a (clean!) stocking.......... for more flavour, use an old sock

I've never seen concentrated lemon juice lol

No Scozzie. I typed one and a half, not half. The plastic Lemons are the size of a real lLemon, but contain concentrated juice.
Wish they had fraction keys on this keyboard. Would make life simpler

A little tip for anybody who might be buying cream cheese in Aldi to make a cheesecake.

Do be careful to look at the label because they do stack them all together on the shelf. I have heard tell hem,hem, of somebody getting home with three packets and one was garlic flavoured.

Not the optimum ingredient for a strawberry cheesecake.

The chocolate philly is nice on digestive biscuits - makes cheese and biscuits after dinner a whole new experience lol :-D

Morning Wend, by gum, your up with the lark. I will try that little recipe. I like Smoked Mackeral, but in small doses. Mixed up with the cheeses and with Lemon Juice would suit me. I think I would eat it with a little Mason Plas (sp), ans slightly warmed toast as I would a meat pate. Thanks for the idea.

Really glad you don't wear them again Julia. I grow comfrey and put it in a plastic dustbin with water and leave for 3 weeks - the smell is disgusting.

I make rather a nice paté with Philly, Boursin, smoked mackerel, lemon juice and s n p all mashed up. Very tasty.
