bit of an update here - just had a letter from Barclays informing me that the account has been cancelled but it will take up to thirty days to do this!!! I thought OMG, then I will get another charge for the same amount.
So I rang the company and went off like a bull at a gate, telling the guy I was going to police and the press - anyway, when I let him speak he said he would send me a confirmation email for the cancellation AND will arrange for a refund and that I will also get a confirmation of the refund and he gave me two reference numbers for the refunds. Now whether or not this will happen, we'll just have to wait and see

It seems to be happening to quite a few companies lately as a new type of marketing thing, lkooked at one the other day, order x amount of wine to be delivered for reasonable price, but unless you cancel right away they send you the same amount every month,crafty but legal .answer ALWAYS READ THE SMALL PRINT.Saves you cash and trouble,and anything over £100. pay by Credit card. :-S

well things are looking fairly promising - just got this email from said company



This is confirmation your refund was successfully processed for the credit card we have on file ending in XXXXXXXXXXXX6201. Please note refunds are released immediately from RevitaDerm and should post back to your account in approximately 3-7 business days, but depending on your bank it may take longer. You do not need to take any further action to receive your refund as you are receiving this email because the refund was already processed and you will see the credit on your bank/card statement.

I just tried to look at the revitaderm site and got this warning from my net security

McAfee blocked me from getting on with the warning of Risky Connection Blocked
