~~~~~ Island,
Tuttty tut, you know the tooth fairys live at the bottom of the garden so dont need to put their adress on the letter :-D
They had a supply of sixpences as well and keeping up with the times have a stack of £1.00 coins now. ;-)
I remember the time PricklyHolly when the fairys forgot to come to collect my Sons tooth. Quick as a flash (and gawd knows where it came from) I told him to look outside where it had been raining all night. My son now knows that the tooth fairy does not visit when it rains because it makes their wings wet and they cant fly. :-D
Teresa.
Off to bed now to get some beauty sleep, no comments please Island :-P
My ability to lie readily once saved a lady's credibility.
Had to visit a family on the Isle of Wight. The tooth fairy had forgotten to come on the previous night and the lads mother could not explain why.
Luckily I had noticed it was very foggy the previous night, too foggy for the ferries to run so how could anybody expect a fairy to fly?
Island Report 6 Feb 2012 22:54
Aaw Teresa, but you is lovely :-) :-D
Eleanor Farjeon's poem 'Goblin Market' is online.
Reading quickly through it,it would seem that theey sell a lot of fruit and I would imagine it might be where fairies would shop.
Maybe you could have a look at the poem together.
