Good Luck Annie G. Hope it is juicy enough for you, and worth giving the ironing a miss. LOLOL

I'm off now to have an e mail conversation with a librarian in Toronto. Someone has uncovered some scandal for me from 1921. Funny the things you do to avoid ironing.

The Izal was terrible - it was slippery ========== yuck

Kuros Report 16 Jan 2012 16:40

I can smell Izal just thinking about it. You were posh to have that. I remember when I started teaching umpteen years ago we used Izal as tracing paper.

What a wonderful board this is! From snow to Izal in one page.

I bet your cold where you are, arn't you.
It was only late in life that my parents had luxery toilet roll. No wonder they both suffered from piles. LOLOL

Annie G, In between the newspaper and Andrex, we had IZAL, at our house. This was just as bad as the newspaper. LOLOL

He probably does what they did here in days gone by, Julia. They cut papers up into squares and hung them on a nail behind the door. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Suffice to say, when we were young we were all very glad to see the arrival of Andrex.

Am warm and cosy in d.gown - OH went off to golf about 9.30 and I did not feel like getting wash/dressed/exercises before 9.00 a.m. So I am slobbing.

Bright blue skies here but OH said it was nippy out. Must get washed and exercised before he returns.
