Almost every film that has a Christmas theme! Angels, snow, Father Christmas, sentimental happy endings with a Christmas miracle...they all get me, no matter how mawkish lol. I have been wallowing on ITV3 this week :-D

A couple of real oldies does it for me. I've watched them that many times I know the script.
' A Town Like Alice', when the Japanese crusify the two Aussies to trees.
'Von Ryan's Express' when Frank Sinatra is running after the train in Italy but his hand won't reach it and he is shot.
'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence' with David Bowie. The title song gets to me every time I hear it. I'm humming it to meself as I type.

I don't watch many films these days so my films are not so recent. But Kramer versus Kramer, White Christmas (I know, sad isn't it?) and yes, King and I. Actually most romantic old films could make me cry.
