Julia love, having a weepy isn't buckling.
You're worried about your man and missing him no doubt AND it's Christmas - and it's bloomin' cold at the bus stop.
Let a few tears go, it will keep you strong for when you visit him.
I hope you get some positive news today, as you say - not knowing is the most unsettling. :-)

Hope today is a better one for your OH. And as for having a weepie - that is good - a doctor once told me to cry and not bottle all my feelings up.

Morning Everyone - thank you all for thinking of us both. Was relieved to have a day at home yesterday, helped to calm me down abit.
The latest is that he has to have another scan, hopefully today, if not then tomorrow (Tuesday). No clues as to how long he will be in, or indeed what they are going to do.
Last evening when I phoned him, he was pretty uncomfortable.
But today's another day, and the full medical team will be on duty this morning, so perhaps things will move along a little faster.
It's the wanting to know that gets at you, that and the travelling. Admit I had a bit of a weepy thing last night, but pulled meself together. It's too early to buckle yet.
I'm going up there this afternoon, so will get fully updated.

Julia, sorry to hear that your OH isn't having a very good day today. Hope that they will soon find out the cause of all his pain and treat it.

Hi Gals, and Matthew Kirsty McColl,
Have spoken with the OH, and he is not having a very good day today, and is on heavy painkillers, again.
He had a visitation from a higher-up,(bless me, and on a Sunday aswell) and he wants the OH to have a different type of scan to the one he has already had. He is concerned about his bowels, now.
By mutual agreement it was decided that I would not go to the hospital today, so that I can have abit of a rest, and not overdue things. OH has his mobile with him, so we are in contact, and he can keep me posted.
Just had a walk to blow the cobby's off and fetch the papers, and me baccy, so I have dropped the catch, and that's me in for the day.
Naturally, with me little doggy having to be shut in all day, there has been a few accidents, so I am going to clean the carpets, but I will have plenty of time to come on here.

I hope your husband is comfortable today Julia and that you have clearer news - though maybe not today, being Sunday.
Naturally hubs is foremost in your mind but do look after yourself and don't get cold on your travels.

just come on and seen the situation that you and your oh are in.
very sorry to hear he is in so much pain. so I hope that medicos can decide better sooner than later what will be best for him.

Hope your o.h. is soon feeling better and home again to keep you in order Julia, don't get too used to having control of the remote etc

Not the best of times to be poorly and a shame they don't seem to know how best to treat your o.h.'s problems.

Julia, only just seen your update. Glad to hear that OH is a bit brighter today. Hope that they will soon sort out the problem and that he will be home again.
