Stands on chair and applauds Island, you know Island I thought it was just me, but I am so used to it, I am used to people completely ignoring my replys or talking over my head after all there is a rather a long history on here and many the times I sit back read and have a really good chuckle to myself, how because options differ from others how they are ignored, if it isnt all " your wonderful poor you hugs people don't respond or I am reporting a sick dying friend or family member " you begin to think to yourself what is wrong with these people, now the only one who has responded is Wend she likes to hoard now because she think as I do I shall never speak to her again, block her from my contacts and just sulk for a month.........may even throw up a " I am leaving thread " :-D

Silly Sausage Report 14 Oct 2011 12:08

Wend I do have a few little tresure like stuff when the children were little and I have been known to hang on to a few items of clothing ( normally stuff I know wont date) but hardly hoading...............if I save or hang on too a load of old stuff there will be no room for the new ;-)

Our local hospice shop is very picky about what it takes. I needed to get rid of old wardrobes because new, more practical ones were coming. The hospice shop would not take them until they had been round,at their convenience, to inspect. I needed them gone so they went to the tip.

Sofas are now so tightly regulated that I don't think you can even give an old one away. My neighbours had to shift a lot of very good furniture, he was high up in Habitat for a long time, and could only give away their gorgeous sofa to somebody who was taking it to France where they have a much healthier atitude to regulations.

Hayley, I so wish I could be like you. I'm afraid hoarding is one of my hobbies :-(

Poor bloke being branded awful when no one knows absolutely nothing about him, or the reason he is clearing out the rubbish ! Maybe he is very busy and just wanted to be rid and didnt have the time to run round donating his wears.

I detest clutter, as soon as a new paper or mags has been read in our house is thrown away in the recyling bin, books I donate to the book club at work, which are normally brought from there and then returned. The thought of loads of rubbish in my home would fill me with dread, all those old papers or mags germs dust mites ewww yuk ......of course my loft space could be an Alladins cave at least every 6 mths I have a good declutter, there is no rubbish tip now where I live everything has bins/skips to be recyled or if I think anything can be sold in a charity shop it goes there or to the local church hall.

Why hang on to a load of unwanted trash so pointless.

I doggy bag but we went out for a breakfast yesterday to a cafe I purposely don't use often because of the ridiculous portion sizes.

There was a lot left of mine and that is unusual but you I didn't really want half a fried egg and some hash brown in a doggy bag with cold mushrooms and beans.

Their portion of tomatoes was five halves of large ones with similar sized portions of everything else.
