Please tell Jean that she has been added to my daily quiet time and prayers. Hope she is beginning to feel better and that there is good news soon. |

Seems ridiculous that the scan hasn't been done yet, maybe Jean would have been happier waiting at home but I suppose if she is at the hospital they can do it as soon as there is a free slot. |

Evening all. What a surprise to find so many messages on Judes thread for me. I have been let promise of good behaviour, to report back if any cnanges in my toe. Surgeon I saw this morning still doesnt think it is viable but is giving me a bit longer on antibiotics just in case. He also explained that the scan done yesterday showed a great deal of damage in the leg circulation, and as he wasnt a vascular man he could not go ahead with an angioplasty. The necessary man will be back off leave at the end of the month, all test results ready for him. They will then discuss whether the angioplasty will save the leg or if amputation may be an option. This on what to all intents and purposes looks healthy. ! Not a happy thought but we will cross that bridge when it comes to it |
