Seeing as I was one of the people eating popcorn, although I did do it quietly ;-) I won't comment on that bit.

I loved it!!!! I really did, the special effects were fantastic and they covered the story really well.

Some favourite bits were the dragon, Mrs Weasley defeating Bellatrix and Neville beheading Nagini.

I enjoyed it that much I'm seriously considering going to watch it again next week :-D

Went to see it this afternoon....

I do wish people wouldn't scrabble in their popcorn like rats in a cupboard lol.

Cat, what did you think? ( about the film not the popcorn lol)

Sorry Rose I've been off playing games, not HP lol

You mean the ones at the end where Harry saves Sirius? Yes, I have, not for a while now as I haven't played it in ages but I have done it. I'm too bloody stubborn to let them beat me, although I do admit letting my son do it for me a couple of times lol

ChAoTicintheNewYear Report 8 Jul 2011 23:06

Thank you, BC and Rose :-)

Rose, I remember the fuss about the first film coming out and thinking it can't be that good. Then about 3 weeks after it came out I took the kids to watch something at the cinema and it was the only thing on at the time that was really suitable so we watched it. After that I was hooked, I bought the first four books and read them all then got each of the others as they came out. I haven't read them for a while but will have to again soon. I'll wait until after the film, I think. I even have all the games as well lol

When the first film came out I wasn't especially interested , but my brother said it was good, and he'd read the book also lol, I got it and was hooked... read all the rest of the books as they followed.... I almost wish I hadn't , as I would still have them to look forward to :-D

ChAoTicintheNewYear Report 8 Jul 2011 22:44

The only thing that will prevent me from going to see the new film is if the world ends and maybe not even then ;-)

It's my graduation the day before so I have to celebrate somehow lol

Gwyn in Kent Report 8 Jul 2011 22:43

I haven't seen any of the films.
I think perhaps I should as I often work with young people, so ought to understand their viewing.

I have queued at midnight for a book-release though, when grandson was waiting to read the next book.......
