I am now in my 3rd week of Zumba, I do 25 mins every night and sometimes try for 50 mins I do 50 mins saturday and Sunday, I can see the differance my puffy ankles have gone and my tum flater also thighs are looking more toned but I am positive my bums getting bigger...

cheated a little and got the Zumba Wii....15 min work out which is just like dancing but you shake a bit more and I was sweating like a ****'s *** :-D

Probably not,But ca do the Rumba and the Samba,I suppose the Zumba is where you go to sleep ZZZ whilst doing the Rumba. ;-) :-S :-D.**M**.

My daughter and daughter in law love it.
I would love to give it a try but with my knees.
I'll sit and watch them and wiggle all me wiggly
bits in time to the music.

Not with your rumneyknees Hayley,,,,,my neice does it she lost 3 inches off her waist and can swing her bum all over. :-D :-D :-D

Hi, I have done three Zumba classes. Even in my advanced stage of life I still managed to get through them. However they are hard work, very energetic, and not for the faint hearted, or faint at heart.

I would start off gradually and do half a class and then gradually increase the time. You need good arm/leg coordination, which I do not have, and a good grasp of the beat of music. If Latin American beat is your forte and you are a gym junkie and are superfit. Go for it.

There is another dance fitness class starting out here. It is called She'bam. It is reported to be simpler than Jam or Zumba, with less steps and easier choreography. Still looks far too energetic for me. I'll let you know how my younger, more energetic friends enjoyed it after Saturday.
