Yes, I was going to say Kay, unless you and your OH are exactly the same age and have everything else exactly the same you can't compare it surely?

Hi Kay - surely if you entered your OH's details but YOU did the test then the results wouldn't be accurate!!

They must take HIS age, computer skills, years in education etc into consideration when analysing the results of a test that you did based on your age.....etc.

Oh heck I only scored 60, in MY mind I should haver scored at least 70 LOL. Have to keep on doing the crosswords, sudoku, puzzles etc, keep the brain active. Keep an eye on me, dear GR friends, let me know if I am slipping LOL. I promise to do the same for you.

mine was 67% but I did another in OH details and it was 56% so its not accurate at all,,,,,,mind I am smarter being female as all us are,,,,, :-D :-D :-D

evening peeps 61%. well not bad, but its very late in the day really and am quite tired. suppose best time would be an hour after you get up when you are really alert! well thats my excuse anyway.

thankyou wendy, mum is waiting to be referred to the hospital for a memory test to see how bad things are with her (she is 85). her two cousins and their father plus an aunt had Alzheimer's.
some atricles that i have read say that it DOES run in families and others say it doesnt. just dont know what to beleive.

i have Alzheimer's in both side of my mum and dads family and so i get quite worried when i think i am on the downward slide at 56.
i scored 50 which it says is average for my age. thankgoodness for that!

Well done Bernard you beat me, mine was 53 aged 67.

Just done the test for the men and scored 60 - age 52 :-D

The info given after the test does say don't do it a second time as obviously you now know what to expect and should therefore get a higher score.

It is important to read all the instructions before the beginning of each part of the test. I scanned over one part and then lost time as I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do!!

To be honest, people from 50 - 70 may have arthritis- which will undoubtedly slow them down!! Also, if you're not used to 'flitting' usng a mouse, you're at a disadvantage.
I'm going to get my 9 year old grand daughter to try it when she's next here - she's intrigued by what I use the computer for, and she's worse than me at the computer games I play :-D
As she's not in any immediate danger of Altzheimer's, it would be interesting to see if she beats me!!

I went in to analyse the result but couldn't understand a word of it so I will remain in blissful ignorance.

I blame the heat. My fingers were sticking to the touch pad.!

I havent done it the second time, didnt see the point but I did struggle with the letter same/different, of course it doesnt help when you ar dsylexic so will read them backwards only 3 letters and forward 3 if its up 6 letter cool 8 or more and youve had it ... :-D

I moved the mouse to a better place for speed, and with the advantage of having done it once already , upped it to 67%
