Thank you to all the ladies who have replied on this topic.
It has made me laugh and smile at the things that have been said.
Cheered me up but wasn't feeling down.
I never had the hot sweats as I had the op for heavy b....

I feel for you that do suffer from them as I had a very close friend who would wear her husbands handkerchiefs round her neck to soak up her persperation!!!

She was right, walking is a good cure-all, keeps you fit and makes you feel good.
Remember people used to go for their 'consititutional' after lunch?

I wouldn't touch soya products with a dead fish I wouldn't ! It's all genetically modified ..... I'd rather have a hot flush than grow an ear on my back !

TW .... my Nan swore by " having a wash , putting on a clean vest and going for a walk " as a general cure all ..... if it was good enough for them then it's good enough for me :-D

It is Kay, as is most fish, but it's also full of phyto-oestrogens...
Combine that and soya and it's no wonder they've never heard of menopause.

So...the question is, do Japanese women not have it because of their diet...or do western women have it because of our diet? What did our ancestors do?

I read it's not so much the soya but all the raw fish they eat, which are packed full of Phyto-oestrogens, so their diet is effectively HRT.
