I will make the pressie a two tiered trolley for use in the home and save you from carrying the Baileys when you move from room to room. Am older than you so I I know how hard it is to stay active. Happy Birthday.

Just a few historical events from June 1936 for ButtercupFields to cogitate:-

* Gatwick airport opened.
* Leslie Mitchell becomes BBC-TV first announcer. Wonder who announced that!
* Heinrich Himmler appointed head of the Reich's police force.
* President Roosevelt chosen to run for a second term.
* British writer G K Chesterton dies.
* The Wellington Bomber makes its maiden flight.

Big Birthday Congratulations to a Ripe Old Bird :-D

Can't curtsy, so I've just done a naked cartwheel across the boards with me tiara on and taken a few slurps of the bottle of Baileys I bought for you.

Have a lovely birthday in Ireland, to be sure, to be sure and try not to behave, if that's possible!

I don't usually do "Happy Birthday" if it's not the actual day.....but as i don't know what day it is, i don't want to miss it!!

So, i hope you have a wonderful birthday BC and a great time celebrating in Ireland............

*Coughs, positions hair brush that is celotaped to the broom handle, deep breath and..............*

There's a tear in your eye,
And I'm wondering why,
For it never should be there at all.
With such pow'r in your smile,
Sure a stone you'd beguile,
So there's never a teardrop should fall.
When your sweet lilting laughter's
Like some fairy song,
And your eyes twinkle bright as can be;
You should laugh all the while
And all other times smile,
And now, smile a smile for me.

When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.
When Irish hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.
And when Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, they steal your heart away.

*Curtsies respectfully, nicks one of the many bottles of Baileys left just inside the door and quietly leaves*
