And that's what you get for changing numbers.

We need a set ranking of what's on offer for what.

100 posts -- you get a handshake

500 posts -- one of those double air kisses and a handshake

1000 posts -- tea and a cookie, which you may call a biscuit if you like.

2000 posts -- a beverage of yr choice

2500 posts -- choccie cake

(I'd already said that, so I'm stuck with it)

5000 posts -- another beverage, some more cake, and you may sign your posts with one of "revered", "learnèd", "special".

After that, for 10K, 15K, 20K, etc., pick yr own prize.

Within reason!

Ah, but there are a few with more than me -- it's just the passing of the post ... uh, as it were ... that I mark here. ;-)

You're just padding yours up so you get noticed at 2,500, I think. :-P :-D

Chocolate cake with chocolate icing do you?

Okay, I threatened to do it, and I've finally got one. I've kept an eye out, but not managed to catch any big "0" posts, so it's just coincidence that my fellow countrywoman gets the first notice.

Well, except for my noticing of my own right 20,000th after post counts got introduced ... sigh, had to buy my own cake and ice cream ...

what was that sentence supposed to say?

Well, except for my noticing of my own 20,000th right after post counts got introduced ...

Earlier today, SylviaInCanada posted her 20,000th post!

Well, not counting any that have been deleted. ;-)

So a round of something -- applause, beer -- for Sylvia.

And anybody else who notices a big five-oh-oh or such like milestone being passed, feel free to add!
