I don't remember the question, Island. Have just come back from paying the forgotten fiver..they were so nice and said it happens every day :D

Threading is an ancient way of shaping eyebrows, removing moustaches, etc...they get this piece of cotton and tweak and pull and it's over in minutes. Would recommend it...but don''t forget to pay!

Island

Island Report 25 May 2011 13:02

What was the question again? :S

btw.....what is 'threading'?

'Emma' Report 25 May 2011 12:59

I often get senior moments which I used to find annoying
cause knew I had to remember something important, it
never was important when I did remember. My mother was
a Scottish Hilda Baker (remember her) she used to wonder why
we were always in stitches laughing at her when she was telling
us things, now my grandchildren do the same to me at times, saying
I'm mixing my words. Nonsense.lolx

Emmax :-)

speaking for myself BC...I have always been a bit 'odd' lolol I blame my mother, we used to have a 'game' of her trying to remember actors names...she would say something like

" He was in that film with the singer, the one who was married to that actor chappie.... you know that one who was Remington Steele"

"Pierce Brosnan?"

" No not him...the one who was in Peyton Place"

"Ryan O'Neal?"

"That's him!" (Ryan O'Neal to RHYME with Remington Steele)

Went to see the nurse at our GP's surgery last week.
Was on my way out clutching prescription when she said
"Don't forget your handbag"
