I will be getting my bus pass out and getting as far as I can from a T.V. I love the Royals, but can't stand all this twaddle.

This, is a love match and has not been rushed into. Personally I think William has and will protect Kate from the sort of behaviour his mother received from both the media and the Royal family

I wish this young couple every good wish and happiness and a long and happy marriage such as his paternal g.parents have had.

Still furiously looking for my invitation. I am sure it must have arrived by now. Oh dearie me I just can't trust OH to put the mail in the same place each day.

Scratch, scratch, fumble, fumble. Looks at calendar. Oh goodness it's on Friday, isn't it? That's the day after tomorrow.

Oh well looks like like have to join the rest of Australia, bar Julia, Ian, and the lovely Edna, in front of the telly. Our coverage starts from about 4.30pm so I will need the toothpicks to prop open the eyelids by the time they reach the "I do's" - or if Kate has any sense a very loud "I don't".

Well,I will be trying to avoid any mention of the Royal sodding wedding.

I will be at work from 0530 to 1730, not allowed tv's or radio's there, and altough I can get the internet I can't get things like Flash/Player so will only see what photos are put on..........................saying that I can't say I am overly bothered about it, apart from the fact that I'm getting Bank holiday pay!! LOL

Just seen on the news a 20ft tree has been taken into the Abbey!

Glued to the settee watching tv - I wish William and Kate every happiness and hope they get a few years just being left alone.

Better make sure the shops are open then-some are not opening until 1pm !!

We'll probably turn it on to have a look at the dress, then go off food shopping - there shouldn't be too many people about, lol Certainly not going to be glued to it all day. 30 mins perhaps?

Not really interested in it - if the weather is nice, we may go out somewhere, if not I may watch some of it (but can't face an all-day marathon!).

There just isn't the same sort of interest there was with Charlie and Di's wedding. In fact most people I know are distinctly disinterested in the whole affair.

We shall probably turn it on to see what the couple look like but that will be it.

I will be glued to the TV, I just hope my dog does not ant to go outside at a crucial momemt.

I'll be glued to the TV....i absolutely LOVE watching royal weddings...I was a child when Charles and Diana married and we went up to the fireworks display at Hyde Park the night before..I got very swept away by all the excitement of that...still have the scrap books I made somewhere in the loft as well lol.

I'm trying to fire the girls up about it but I suspect if it's not raining they'll be off up the road on their bikes lol x

We shall be at the English bar close to where we live. The bar will be suitably dressed with all things royal, good food and wine, banners everywhere and we have a competition to see who has drawn a dress closest to the one the bride will be wearing.
Now if we were in the UK oh would have volunteered to be in work, and so would I. I do believe in a monarchy but one cannot help remembering the divorces once children were born to ensure the monarchy continues nor the very public affairs , juvenile telephone calls etc from some of the members of the family.

How long will this marriage last????? I hope for a life time but .........

Strange co-incidence I think, didn't Hitler marry on the same day &month??

I will not stay up or get up early to watch it ................... hopefully they will be showing highlights at a decent hour of the day!

My o.h. is at work from 6am to 6pm so I will be able to watch it all in peace. I will have to go to bed earlier the night before so as to get up and stay awake tho, will make sure I too have food etc to hand so I don't have to miss a thing!
I did a similar thing for Diana and Charles' wedding, went to a friend's house as I didn't have a colour tv at the time and he waited on me hand and foot while I watched the whole thing on his tv!

I love all the special things that make Britain so special on these occasions. Just hope the rain will stay away and the sun will shine for them and all those spending the day lining the roads etc.

Will take the dogs out earlier than usual and then get ready to watch as much as I can.

When it was Charles and Diana the boss kindly brought his TV into the office so us girls could watch it.

Love all that pomp and ceremony that only us British can do.
