inadvertantly(cos I didnt realise at the time)is a setting on the advanced menu for subtitles on our Tosh' regza telly.......

for visually impaired viewers,

a voice that describes the action on the scene as it happens...........took me ages to realise that it was MY fault and not something in the subtitle function....
as I generally listen to the telly using headphones, the sound output mutes while this voice is describing the action!!

getting back to the thread, I fear that I may have digressed......

mothers that appear to have no control over their children at crossing roads.......twice this week in peterborough,
one a four year old and the other 7

the first ran into the road (apparently) into the side of a moped rider,
and the second into the road in front of a (police)motorcyclist......

roads are deadly places.....

Pigeons who squat on my window sill. *takes aim......

People that stand in the middle of the pavement having a conversation and expect everybody to walk round them and they always seem to do it on the narrowest part of the pavement.

People that swear when they can see a child near them

Bus companies that don't clean their windows for a week. Just travelled back from Cheltenham and the windows downstairs were so dirty you actually could not see through them.

People for whom the fact they have just sat on the bus is the signal for them to make a long boring, loud phone call relating all their boring Minutiae of the past week. And this is usually women in their 50s/60s and sometimes older.

Women who take their toddlers for a coffee then ignore them for a half hour while they text or phone their friends so the child is bored and fidgety. And this is usually young women.

Two shoppers havinga conversation whilst holding their trollies - right in the middle of the aisle. Even worse since I have to go around on my stroller.

Spitting,has to be one of my biggest hates.It's disgusting.
Men who hold one nostril and blow sn** down the other in the street .
Rudeness(there is no need)
Littering.
People letting dogs foul and then just leave it.I always carry poo bags and have been known to offer one or two
Horse riders on the pavement and then the horse poops right in the middle.
I don't carry poo bags big enough to give them though lol.I know I can put it on my roses but have my own compost.

I'm sure I have more ,but that'll do for now.I don't want to be thought of as a grumpy old woman !!!! 'cos I'm not.Honestly I'm not lol

Binmen who leave my wheelie bin in the middle of my road, not bothering to put it back on the side.....

Sheila WW, I stand still and make them walk round me too. I walk with two sticks and no way am I going in the gutter. I will stand to one side for a pram or pushchair as long as they are not pushing it and phoning at the same time.
People who use their mobile to phone home and find out whether they need something that should be on the cupboard shelves. Dont they check before they go out?

Cyclists who undertake me on the left - while I'm cycling too.

Cyclists who continually wobble as they go along.

The family took my mother out for a birthday dinner the other night and my nephew's girlfriend spent most of the evening on FaceBook using her mobile phone. She didn't look at anyone when she spoke. Even my nephew was annoyed with her.

People who carry their tiny babies around busy shopping centres - one bump and you could lose grip on the little one and they would fall onto a hard surface.

Older people who gripe about everything young people do -there are some really good young people out there. I think we have short memories - we 'baby-boomers' drove our parents crazy.

Insincerity, rudeness, dishonesty, laziness etc. etc. etc. lol

Mother and toddlers who take up disabled spaces in the supermarket car parks.

Disabled people that do the same to them.

We have loads of Students here in Leeds and when getting on the bus while chatting on their mobiles or just plonk their backsides down in the first seat where it says ""Disabled and older people""

Students riding on the pavements near shops when older people are coming out of the shops..

I could make a very long list..
